Jordan, sometimes you need to take lessons in diplomacy :-)

let's be quite clear about this.. IPFW when it cam in was a young and
imature product..
it had good ideas, but it was obviously an early version of what it
might become. it had all the failings of early versions.. hacks and
shortcuts biung two of them. This is expected in early revision
software.. The only thing that was wrong with ipfw is that
Ungen ran out of time to keep cleaning and improving it..
Darren on the other hand has kept improving ipfilter.

this is truely a problem..
Daren wants to keep improving it with new features etc..
