Hello

ports/audio/play is a small application that is supposed play to a
limited subset of .au and .wav files. There are bugs in both the .au
and .wav importers which mean the limited subset is even smaller than
intended.

I can add patches to make the port work, but would actually prefer to
axe the port altogether. We have other ports that do the same job
with a wider range of file types - eg 'play' included in
/ports/audio/sox and ports/audio/wavplay. Would anybody object to
removing this port? What is the mechanism to do this?

Kind Regards
- Orion
