Hello Kiffin,

Check and see if you are running moused (ps aux | grep moused). If so
"man moused" may give you what are looking for.

Also, I'm not sure if you are aware of the Handbook. If installed it 
should be at: 
/usr/share/doc/handbook/book.txt 
or 
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/index.html
