Yeah, I'm finding this out now - Bruce pointed this out yesterday and
I've been trying to find time to give it some thought in between all
the core wars we've been having. :-)

It's used only for sysinstall currently - that's literally it.

Hmmmmm...  Given that, and the fact that other clients for it have not
surfaced in the n years that libdisk has been with us, I suppose we
could move it right under sysinstall?
