WHAT?!
Poul, I know that there is work afoot to make a vt emulator for syscons
but isn't this a bit premature?
We fro example are using pcvt for our development machines and I know
that others are using it..
(I haven't compiled a NEW development machine for a while so I can't
guarantee that it compiles TODAY, but it can;t be too broken because it
did work as of a few weeks ago..)

How much discussion went into this?

I do know that sometimes a rutheless cleanout can be
a good idea but some of the things you're cleaning out might be
discussed a bit more..
