Well, i assume future drives might be better in this respect?  Even if
we manage to get seamless CD-DA support into the driver, i assume it
will remain beta quality until FreeBSD 2.3.  I don't care much for
solutions that support crappy hardware at the cost of elegancy.  If i
understand it right, all the existing packages do already support this
kind of hardware anyway, so it's better to direct new solutions to
better hardware.
