The only reason I ask is because > exim and qmail are ports instead of being in the tree. well....that's a sticky question, we quickly get into the realm of opinion, opinion based upon running the FreeBSD mailing lists for several years (and other sources) but opinion none the less. Postfix is the only one of the three that I believe may become a standard mailer with the robustness, efficiency and support that is required.
