-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

The final, non-beta release 3.0.0 of dxpc is now available from
    ftp.x.org:/contrib/utilities/dxpc-3.0.0.tar.gz
and
    sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/Incoming/dxpc-3.0.0.tar.gz
    (eventually sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/X11/xutils/dxpc-3.0.0.tar.gz)

dxpc is an X protocol compressor designed to improve the
speed of X11 applications run over low-bandwidth links
(such as dialup PPP connections). Release 3.0.0 features
client-side caching of fonts, keyboard mappings, and X
resources for improved X client startup speed. It works
with X11R4, R5, or R6 and most varieties of UNIX systems.

Thanks to all of the beta testers for helping to work out the
portability issues.
