	 WHOA!!!!!

	 what if no one else likes postfix.   

	 postfix is coming into the tree as /usr/src/contrib.
	 sendmail is the default mail transfer agent.
	 individual users can switch either machines to use postfix as
	   the mta.
	 there is no intention of removing sendmail from the tree.
