This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156) --------------enigF7EF1967E11DE958BA1DFF80 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I have seen this in the internet http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-gnome/2004-September/008387.ht= ml I am having the same symptoms with a samba share, and I have traced it down. The crash happens as soon as a directory is found by Nautilus which has a Thumbs.db file created by a windows machine. If you delete this from teh server, you can then access the share. My question is why? I would like to have the Thumbs.db remain in the folder because of the caching function for windows. I would also not like to comment it out using the file hide opttion due to performance hit= s. Any one have a clue? nautilus: Installed: 2.20.0-3 Candidate: 2.20.0-3 Version table: *** 2.20.0-3 0 500 http://ftp.de.debian.org unstable/main Packages 500 http://ftp.de.debian.org testing/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Debian GNU/Linux lenny/sid --Shawn --------------enigF7EF1967E11DE958BA1DFF80 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIManMNtRSEI0CgQgRAvr2AJ9ck7vEH5GBTUhHLwL1dB+Yak8SCACeMR9l Btw5zMfZSzdJSclEA5b43LI= =aGkK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigF7EF1967E11DE958BA1DFF80--
