I have built a good half dozen machines recently, and always choose the 'X-Developer' distibution, despite the fact that I don't actually need X at the moment. However, one of my clients has just reported that /usr/X11R6 simply doesn't exist on his box. He's right! Nor does it on any of the other machines (whether they are ones he built, or I built). Am I missing something obvious here? I note that on the uk2 distribution machine, the following link is broken: ftp://ftp2.uk.FreeBSD.ORG/pub/FreeBSD/2.2.5-RELEASE/XF86331 Could that have something to do with it? No errors are reported during install, and I haven't (yet) tried installing from somewhere else... (Although I have checked a couple of other distribution points and it seems to be broken there as well). cheers, Adam -- Adam Laurie Tel: +44 (181) 742 0755 A.L. Digital Ltd.
