Hi,

can anyone of you help me configuring XFree on a Thinkpad T20? I tried
configuring with xf86cfg, which seems to start up, but it crashes
immediatly. At least it leaves an XF86Config file lying around. When I use
this file I can start X but at a horrible resolution of 640x480. Trying to
start xf86cfg then from an xterm results in "Cannot to open config file.",
and "xf86cfg -xf86config XF86Config" results in "Loader running on
FreeBSD. Illegal instruction".

Has anyone of you a working XF86Config for that model? (The graphics chip
is a S3 Savage IX, I think.)

regards,
le
