Well -

 You may have noticed my other mail regarding converting to 2.1.5.

 Here's the scoop on what I've discovered with sio.

 At 2.1.5 - I can lock up a real 16550 on a 386DX-33 at 19200.
(Before it would only be at 38400.)

 Something has changed for the worse here.

 I'd hate to have to drop down to 9600 just to stay connected...
Does anyone have suggestions as to how to proceed...

 I'm willing to start hacking at this point...
