I think the patches applied ok, but the build doesn't get very far. It seems to look for a file freebsd-elf.h. I'm going to look at it a little more closely, when I get time. Maybe I need to do something a little more than a simplistic ./configure and make. I think that I should get the compiler upgraded before I give it to them. I don't want them to be fighting compiler weaknesses when they try to figure out build problems. To test this, I just did this: cvs -d /home/ncvs co contrib_gcc cd contrib_gcc patch -Ip1 < .../gcc.diff which applied with no errors.
