From the keyboard of Christoph Splittgerber: > when do new versions/fixes make it into the FreeBSD -stable branch ? I > know that you regularly commit changes (new releases) into -current but > when do they make it into -stable ? As I understand, my 3.2-STABLE > (99/07/01) is still at isdn4bsd 00.70.0. In the forseeable future i will not do any commits to -stable. It is _very_ easy to upgrade stable to the latest i4b: cd /usr/local/src;mkdir i4b;cd i4b; tar xvzf i4b-00.82.00-beta-140799.tar.gz;\ cd FreeBSD; sh overuninstall.sh;sh overinstall.sh;cd ..;make cleandir;\ make depend;make;make install;cd /sys/compile/<YOURKERNEL>;make depend;make;\ make install;shutdown -r now should do it - YMMV. hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis Tel +49 40 559747-70 HCS Hanseatischer Computerservice GmbH Fax +49 40 559747-77 Oldesloer Strasse 97-99 Mail hm [at] hcs.de 22457 Hamburg WWW http://www.hcs.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message
