Hey, don't do this! :)

I've been doing it many months ago, and Alexis Yushin's upsd should be
up to your needs if you've got a SmartUPS.

Ask majordomo@ww.net for the upsd mailing list.  Perhaps we should
convince Alexis now to make it an official port/package.
