Wrong.  Use of the devil image for the logo for BSD and UNIX
predates Kirk.

Wrong.  Beastie has always been the logo.  It is one of the hallmarks of
the anti-beastie campaign that the anti-beastie people are now claiming
that
beastie was never the logo.
