Hi,

I just got two Shuttle SS51 with SIS chipset. Since these machines will run
in a kind of cluster configuriatin (hosting a couple of jails each, with
regular backup to the other machine, to take over the other's jails if one
fails), I was hoping to use if_fwe as a private link between the two.

I took a 6p-to6p cable and connected the two of them; the cable and the
Firewire port are working, as I was able to verify by hooking up a disk.

However, no packets are going through, and as far as I can tell, the two
machines have no knowledge of each other. Any suggestions? I couldn't
really find anything in the archives or GNATS...
