I really like getting a reply from a message I post sent to me
as well as to the list.  The replies sent to me arrive much more
quickly and are sorted differently, into a mailbox that has only
"personal" messages and, of course, spam.

I don't even mind the spam--I think it's unfortunate that the
"list" command has been disabled and suggests that the bad guys
are winning.
