The reason for "OK, maybe not the last one" is because, in the UK at least, the word is used as a derogatory term for someone who is considered boring, originally applied to train-spotters (because they all wear anoraks to keep them warm whilst stood on railway stations for hours), but now used for people who spend all their time on their computers and talk about little else. A kind of polite version of "sad bastard". > regards > > jonathan > > -- > =============================================================================== > Jonathan Michaels > PO Box 144, Rosebery, NSW 1445 Australia > ===========================================================<jon@caamora.com.au> > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message > -- FreeBSD - The Power To Serve http://www.freebsd.org My Webpage http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~markov _______________________________________________________________ Mark Ovens, CNC Apps Engineer, Radan Computational Ltd.
