there leaning toward going with Corel Linux and on the debian site there are
MS SQL OBDC drivers. So there is a lean in that direction, although all this
is in the planning stage. I have a FreeBSD Server set up with InterBase that
I use as a test server. I use a Delphi app to pump the data from a MS SQL to
Interbase, but the powers that be don't want to risk that.

We are a mental health insurance company and are main application used by
150+ care managers is a powerbuilder app that runs off of MS SQL server! So
MS SQL server is going no where.
