As you can see from the sequence number, this isn't exactly the first time
I've performed this exercise.  :-}


I think I'll hold off on the (previously-)planned upgrade of my
production boxes to today's -STABLE, for now.

I'll prowl around in the kernel changes in the last 24 hrs. to see if I
can identify likely suspects.
