If you are referring to the patch posted by Udo Schweigert
<ust@cert.siemens.de> on 12/6/00 in response to a post from yourself
then I found it after posting my original message. FWIW it appears
that they have been committed, although other mods appear to have been
made as well:

/usr/ports/mail/mutt{103}# patch -C < /usr/mark/mutt_makefile.patch 
Hmm...  Looks like a unified diff to me...

OK, but as I mentioned, compiling with slang causes a SIG11 core dump
as soon as I press a(ny) key. Have you any idea why that is?

In the end I just cp(1)'ed the HTML stuff from the build tree to the
install directory. Still, a port should build without all these
problems. If it is something missing or out of date on my system then
maybe the dependency checking needs enhancing.
