Since devd.conf uses quietstart, there is a way to make everyone happy
or at least not so angry: check rc_quiet and act accordingly.  The
patch is available at
  http://codelabs.ru/fbsd/patches/dhclient/dhclient-respect-quiet-mode.diff
please, test it and report back.
