I understand that the ports hierarchy has handled most of this
for FreeBSD (except updating /etc/shells, like it should), but
I'm complaining about script portability, and that means that
at least one of the machines involved isn't FreeBSD (or Linux,
to forestall anyone who wants to flame me on that particular
technicality).
