Just remember that the easy way is not always the best way.

Once you use -c to change your kernel options things will run fine, until 
you recompile your kernel and reboot to use it.  Then you will notice 
that all settings are back to the old way.  Kind of a pain to change that 
every time.  Best way is to go in to the source and edit the settings in 
there, that way each time you add something new (hardware or what have 
you...) it does not require you to do a -c again.
