Yep, and you've said it a few times now, yeah. ;)

That's pretty much what I figured. 8-12 months *is* a long time, but a 
lot of stuff could happen between then and now.. the JDK passes every 
JCK(?) test, HotSpot starts working, libc_r gets backported, Sun assigns 
a few enginneers to give you guys a hand..

Well, at least the first three are realistic..
