Does anybody have a working system with the Biostar M5ALA
and an AMD K6 233 running at 66Mhz?

The board is based on a ALi Aladin V chipset.

The system has:

Biostar M5ALA running at 66 MHz
AMD K6 233
32MB DIMM - 1
S3 Virge clone video card
Western Digital IDE drive with previously installed
2.2.6 STABLE (~6/10/98)
3Com 3C509 ethernet card

It boots but reports about an unrecognized ACER IDE controller

The system crashes before completing multi-user boot;
I will try and provide a trace back.
