Huh? (again). On my machine gv is a symlink to ghostview:

/usr/marko{52}% ls -li `which -a gv ghostview`
214357 -rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  100256 13 Feb  1999 /usr/X11R6/bin/ghostview
595803 lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel       9 18 Dec  1999 /usr/X11R6/bin/gv -> ghostview
/usr/marko{53}%
