 sorry it was my mistake.
 checked the startup scripts and it seemed that the
 
 "ifconfig rl0 rl0 2001:858:101::3 prefixlen 64" 
 
 killed the box. well it should also not lead to a kernel
 trap. please could anybody verify this problem on a alpha?
