Uhh... I did the classic mistake... I set

	CXXFLAGS:=${CFLAGS}

in  /etc/make.conf....  All  of  the  CXXFLAGS+=...  statements  in  the
makefiles where, I guess, ignored after that :-(

I'm ashamed...
