I tried to get a USR Sportster and ended up with a Megahertz, since USR
bought out Megahertz.  At any rate, I'm pretty happy with mine, no obvious
problems.

Mike Smith seems to be the hardware expert on laptops though.  (At least
he talks a good story. :-)  I'd hold off and see what he has to say as
well.
