It doesn't hurt if it's not there. /var/log/logrotate.status -> /var/run/logrotate.status: that's great! patch-dateext: the included logrotate-3.7.1-maxage.patch: it removes the manual reference of a feature implemented there. Don't do it. Please modify your patch to append your changes to the man page *after* patch-dateext applied, and don't remove description of active functionality.
