This is absolutely untrue. Our goal was to streamline it for both
GNOME and noGNOME users, as well as to avoid forking up development.
Unfortunately, your constant ignorance made it absolutely impossible
to do it without resorting to drive-by commits, as all patches sent to
you for review were either rejected without a reason (apparently you
didn't even try to understand their purpose, despite long and clear
explanation attached to each of those patches), or just silently
ignored. For example, I have not received any reply yet on my libintl
patches sent to you several months ago. There are at least two FreeBSD
committers who observed such misbehaviour (I am and Joe Marcus), so
that your words about failure "to cooperate with your fellow
commiters" are better applied to you than to anybody else.
