According to the BROKEN entry, Jack does not compile on FreeBSD 5.x-Release=

but works on FreeBSD 4.x and FreeBSD-CURRENT (and will probably work on a=20
future 5.3-Release).

Quite frankly, we actually do need people which want to use hypothetical po=
rts=20
of audio software and thus have the skills and motivation to create and=20
maintain them. Repeated wishing and ranting on mailing lists doesn't improv=
