And here's another two reports:

Using 2.2-ALPHA boot.flp & fixit.flp on a 60 MHz Pentium with Mercury
chip set.

NEC 8x model 283:
<NEC CD-ROM DRIVE: 283/3.04> seems to work fine. Probe is ok, 16 MByte read ok.
This is an improvement over 2.1.5R. Others have reported problems with this
drive, possibly using earlier versions of FreeBSD.

AZTEC 4x model CDA 468-03ISE:
<CDA46803I/F1.10000>; Probe reports atapi0.1: unknown phase; 16 MByte read ok.
