In section 5.5.3.2 you reference the pkg_add(1) man page, but from context, I think you mean pkg-add(8) perhaps? It seems you're discussing the difference between pkgng's 'install' and 'add' commands, not comparing 'pkg install' with the old pkg_tools 'pkg_add' command.
