As long as there is no qualified developer for portmaster, there are no
valid reasons not to do so. This port should not be eligible to be
unmaintained as it 1) documented in handbook and 2) unsuitable for
community maintenance.

Each objection can be countered with fact. portmaster either needs a
competent single developer IMMEDIATELY (and I would say after problems
are fixed) or it needs to labelled deprecated to warn potential and
existing users alike.

Hiding the facts does no service to anyone.
