IIRC for most of the Compaq RAID controllers you'll need the Smartstart CD that came with the server. A couple of the models I think can be configured in the BIOS, _IF_ everything in the setup partition is there, but that partition is usually on the array itself... That's if it's a compaq server -- unfortunately the Compaq controllers are real finnicky and don't like to work in non-compaq systems. I've had to resort to using a minimal NT4 install to configure one before. Craig
