Hi Greg,
Gosh, thanks for getting back to me.

I don't know if you've come across it as yet, but I sent in an update to
my post, explaining the outcome of running XF86Config.

In that post, I mentioned some details of the graphics card and included
the graphics bits of the config file generated. For convenience, I'll
say here as well that my graphics card is the ATI Rage 8MB XPERT 98, and
the monitor is a Sun 21" FD Premium.

Do let me know what you make of what I've said there. I've got your
book, but to be honest, as my smaller monitor (Hansol 501P 15") worked
so well with before at 1024 * 768), I didn't figure on having much
problems with the Sun Monitor.

In fact, after simply shutting down and connecting the Sun, the display
graphics and text were very sharp and crisp - just that everything was
huge. After running XF86Config though, sizes are much better, but
everything's all grainy and the colours seem out of whack.

I'll try having a go at the sections of the book, but I'll really
appreciate your comments on my second posting.

Thanks again,

Stacey
