It was discussed a lot, along with the Ultra port, about 1.5 years ago.
A small number of us have sun4c or sun4m hardware available, and would
be interested in helping with the port, but it seems to be waiting for
a leader.

I can now boast a better-than-passing familiarity with SPARC assembler --
I've been working with it full time for about 9 months now. I'm willing
to help when and where I can, but don't have a lot of time available.
I have a SPARCstation IPX of my own, plus a SPARCstation 5 at work I
can throw into the fray, and plenty of disk space available on both.
Both are currently running NetBSD, and await whatever tasks will be
helpful.
