Yes, providing more information may actually be dangerous and make it
more difficult for us to diagnose the problem.

*smack*

So what part of the install lead you to the belief that the card 
isn't supported?  Furthermore, what version of FreeBSD are you
installing?  I'm guessing this is a laptop, is this a 'cardbus'
card (pcmcia PCI?) if so you're probably out of luck for a couple
more weeks/months on that.
