I have a dual SM-41 Sparc 10 which I'd like to port FreeBSD onto. At the moment I'm totally out of time since I have my final 5 exams starting on friday 16th. I've had a look for documentation (as you've probably gathered) and have found a number of things. I also have access to Solaris 2.6 kernel source code which I'm going to start looking over once my last exam is out of the way. What I'd find *really* helpful is a sort of "whirlwind tour" of the FreeBSD kernel as it boots ie. "Everything starts off in file XXX, checking for PQR, then it jumps to files FGH JKL doing whatever etc etc etc ...until it starts init". That sort of thing - a global view. It shouldn't be more than a side of A4 (US letter) equivalent - just a rough idea of what gets done where. Anyone have anything like this?
