Justin,

If you configured several video modes try to cycle through them
(Ctrl-Alt+/-). Otherwise try Ctrl-Alt-F1 to get to console where you can
login usual way and run ee. If for some reason this will not work four
you consider this fact. Gdm suspends for a while after several X server
kills in row (use Ctrl-Alt-Backspace to kill X). And as last resort you
can always boot into single mode. Just type in "boot -s" at loader
prompt or select appropriate option from it menu (depends on you system
configuration).

Good luck,
Alexander.

When I rewrote /etc/rc.conf to include gdm_enable="YES" When I restarted FBSD it booted normally until it got to the login screen and my monitor went black and flashed a warning saying my resolution wasn't correct and to change it. But I can't get into ee to edit /etc/rc.conf. How do I change back to default login? Thanks for your time Juncey
