ok - i narrowed things down to this ... i can use any font of type NxN, where N=number. but nothing else. 6x13B, 8x13rk, etc, won't work. i just end up with the default font in those cases. my "fonts.dir" files appear to be ok, they contain all the fonts in each respective font directory. any ideas anyone? -------------------------------------------------------------------------
