Why is it that the field separator in "device" lines differs from that in 
"options" lines in NOTES/LINT?

I'm referring to the use of "device\t\t" and "options \t".

Don't mean to be a hair-splitter, but why is this?  Seems it would be better 
to keep a consistent format throughout.
