Oops :-)  Fixing this should just be a matter of setting up the multicast
hash filter properly (actually, setting it up at all) and tickling a few
mode bits.  Is is OK if I send you any patches I come up with to test, since
you seem to have a suitable environment for doing so?  These would be
against the -STABLE sources initially.
