I have a unit here with a dead 'CD' board (data seperator). It's about 2"x4", contains a handful of surface-mount logic and was quoted to me at AUD$700 replacement. As for the Sonys, we've never had to get them fixed, so I don't actually know what they're like. > Rich -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] Collector of old Unix hardware.
