one may think that scrnmap must be defined. but if you defined scrnmap with a hardware that don't need it you may lost the display of some keys (e.g. i lost the french accents in console mode).

just write, for example: scrnmap must be defined only if your hardware isn't capable of loading a new display font (e.g. monochrome adapters).
