Well, after 4 1/2 years with FreeBSD, I finally decided to do it: I hosed my Windows installation, reformatted my discs in "dangerously dedicated" mode, and now have a totally FreeBSD system. It feels really cool having no Windows on my machine anymore, especially at boot time, when I don't have to see the boot manager prompt. :-) And it's a real testament, I think, to just what a high-quality piece of work FreeBSD really is, and how far it's evolved in the last few years since I first started using it. I no longer have any need for Windows. FreeBSD can do everything I need, and do it a whole heck of a lot better than Windows, too. -- Conrad Sabatier cjsabatier@home.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
